You might be asking yourself like I was two years ago, what the heck is Neurodiversity. Well neurodiversity entails recognizing and respecting the varied ways people's brains work. It also means seeing differences in brain function as natural and valuable and not problems that need to be fixed. This includes conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Bipolar and many more . Each person's brain offers unique strengths and perspectives, making our society varied. Which is a cool thing right? If everyone was the same that would be boring as shit. No thanks. If you are neurodiverse or know someone that is this also means acknowledging that neurological differences as just a part of who we are. And by valuing all minds not just those that fit a certain mold. That shift in thinking can change how we work and connect with each other. Well how the heck do you do accept Neurodiversity and deal with it. I have some neurodiversity resources just for that.
